This is an attractive and comfortable country house. The amazing views from the lovely garden and pool area are ideal for a relaxing vacation. Granada and the coast are not far away. Very well furnished throughout, this is a very comfortable retreat.
This house is set in a stunning rural position overlooking a huge part of the valley. The house has a quiet situation, down a concrete track, the Camino de la Cuesta, which was once a main route between Granada and the coast, about 1.5km from the main road. This is a working, organic finca with large areas of citrus, almonds and olives, all of which is open for visitors. Enjoy stepping outside the kitchen door to pick your own oranges and lemons and eat a breakfast at the old millstone tables! Outside spaces are large and well organised. The gardens are beautiful, colourful and well tended. There are extensive lawns and steps lead down to a pool terrace where the large swimming pool has its own summer house with fridge and quantities of garden furniture. The house has its own independent water supply and also generates its own electricity. This means there are some restrictions in the use of electrical appliances, but these are mostly very much common sense. The owner has recently built a court for paddle tennis - a facility available at a small extra cost for clients renting the house.
Very well furnished throughout, this is a very comfortable retreat. Through the entrance hall on the ground floor we reach the heart of the house: a large country kitchen / dining room with long refectory table and benches, marble sink, Angel pine work surfaces and large fridge and commercial cooker. There is one twin bedroom (0.90m x 1.90m) and one bedroom with bunkbeds, more indicated for children. Also on the ground floor: a sitting room downstairs, a small multigym and a bath/WC with shower over. First floor: master bedrooms with en-suite bath/WC, 2 double bedrooms with balcony, bathroom/WC and shower over, large terrace. Separate stairs from the ground floor lead to a circular sitting room with a central, open fireplace and doors to terrace. Additional features: central heating, CD player and metered telephone.Note: A WiFi internet connection is available (free of charge).
